Hristov will again compete in Class ATV ,the road crew consists of Orlin Alexiev-pilot and Plamen Nikolov - navigator. The concept is also changed and the car that they will compete with in the "royal class" T1 is BMW X1 A2 Concept.

Todor Hristov
Born in Silistra 43 years ago he finished his master’s degree in the University of Veliko Turnovo. Later he graduated "Aristotle University" in Greece. Hristov is one of the first off-road riders in Bulgaria starting from 2001 year. He is the first Bulgarian off-road champion teamed with Aleksander Kovachev and their car Mercedes G 2.8 in the year of 2002.

Next convincing victory „Balkan Rally Raid Cup”

After 600 km. for three days, a lot of dust, high temperatures our participants for Rally “Dakar 2012” occupied the top places.
The competition “Evia Rally Raid” is second round of “Balkan Rally Raid Cup” and it involved over 100 competitors from Greece, Austria, Hungary, Czech, Italy, Albania and Bulgaria.
In four-wheels (ATV & QUAD) Zornitza Todorova showed brilliant style and gave no chance of the other participants. With a convincing lead she won first place in her class and this is her third podium from the beginning of the year in three competitions.
Zornitza leads also and in temporary classifying for „Balkan Rally Raid Cup”, as there are another two competitions to the end of the year.
Todor Hristov came second in his class, despite of problems with navigation and frontal crash with a motorcyclist in the last stage.
Next competition in their program from preparation for “Dakar 2012” is in Romania at the end of this month, round of “European All Terrain Cup”.

Завърши участието на двата български екипажа от „4х4 адвенчър” в първия кръг на Европейския Шампионат в Унгария. След три дни и 400 км. в компанията на силна конкуренция от Полша, Италия, Унгария, Португалия и Чехия, българите успяха да се качат на подиума.

Rene Metge and Todor Hristov made a presentation of "Africa Eco Race 2015" and the first Bulgarian participants. The event was covered by three national televisions and all auto-moto journals. Several Bulgarians cars, motorcycles and ATVs will participate in the “Africa Eco Race 2015”. The team manager Todor Hristov is an exclusive representative of the competition for Balkans region.

За четвърта година Мтел ще подкрепи състезателите от “Bulgaria Off-road Team” за участието им на “Дакар” 2014. Орлин Алексиев и Пламен Николов, заедно с мениджъра на отбора Тодор Христов, ще се борят отново за титла на най-престижното офроуд състезание.

След успешно преминаване на техническия и административен преглед, българските участници Тодор Христов, Орлин Алексиев и Пламен Николов застанаха на малкия подиум преди да оставят машините си в закрития парк.

На 2 януари TV7 стартира излъчването на "Българи на Рали Дакар". Предаването, което ще проследи първото участие на български състезател в най-тежкия и оспорван клас на състезанието, ще се излъчва всеки ден след късната емисия Новини на TV7.

The starting list is known now , as Orlin Alexiev is with number 446 in class Auto in competition with another 160 cars. Todor Hristov is with number 270 with 40 competitors in his class. The race will start on 5th of January in Lima (Peru) and after more than 8000 kilometers in Atacama and Andes will finish in the capital of Chile – Santiago after 14 racing days.

After the first stage of 270km near to town Erfoud, Hristov is on 4th position from 12 participants in his class with ATV and 52 in overall with motorcycles from 80 started.
Bulgaria will have a participant with a car at rally "Dakar 2013"!

After the first Bulgarian participation with ATV in 2011 at Rally Dakar race , the time has come for Bulgaria to send a participant with a car - the most controversial and difficult class in the race.
